Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Cabin at the No 1 The Chestnuts.

A small place to stay when travelling for work or visiting the area. Approximately 300 yards from Bentley Wood nature reserve. It’s a cosy cabin with very basic appliances/cups/bowls/dishes etc in the centre of a tiny village. There is a microwave, a 2 place countertop hob. A little fridge freezer. A bathroom with sink and shower. Towels provided I have had a couple poor reviews as there is nothing to do in the area, so ideal for a quiet stay!!! There is of course WiFi, tv, and board games.

Lakeside Annexe in hamlet next to the K&A canal

The Annexe is attached to our house which is on the edge of a small hamlet bordering the Kennet and Avon canal in the heart of the stunning Pewsey Vale. It overlooks our small private lake which is host to a variety of water birds including our beautiful pair of resident swans. We have some wonderful walks directly from the house which include two excellent village pubs. The location is ideal for trips to Bath, Salisbury, Oxford and London (fast train from Pewsey) plus many local attractions.

Kate & Nigel’s Cabin

A self contained cabin room with king bed, sofa bed, en-suite shower room, kitchenette, TV, and ample parking. Situated in the quiet village of Bromham, the cabin offers guests a peaceful and relaxing stay in an idyllic situation well situated for Bowood House, Gardens & Spa, Avebury, Stonehenge, Silbury Hill and other historic sites. Devizes and Marlborough are a short drive away and Bath and Chippenham railway stations easily accessible. Ideal if you’re looking for some peace and quiet.

Rutters Garden Cabin

Cabin set in delightful rural Wiltshire. Great for a cosy weekend away, to work from, visit family or just to enjoy beautiful Wiltshire. Close to the house, but not overlooked. Set in our lovely garden on a quiet no through road, just outside of town. Well equipped kitchen and smart TV. Free off road parking. It takes about 20 min to walk into town. If you are into wild swimming or paddle boarding, we are 45 mins away from lake 32. We are unable to cater for infants, children or pets.

The Cabin

A rustic, secluded self contained Cabin beside a lake, set in the heart of rural Wiltshire. Take yourself back to nature and enjoy far reaching views in this peaceful off-grid setting. Enjoy stargazing around the fire pit and snuggle down in front of the log burner. We're veggies here so we ask that no meat is cooked on the premises, this includes inside the cabin itself as well as in the South Barn space. There is a good outdoor bbq for meat lovers though! Located very close to Longleat, Stonehenge, Stourhead and many other wonderful locations including a short drive to Salisbury, Bath, and many more.

The Cabin on Wheels

The Cabin is an ideal location for multiple wedding venues, surrounded by incredible countryside to explore or and in a lovely location to getaway and reset. Planted in the beautiful, rural countryside of Wiltshire, this bespoke cabin offers all the necessities for a stunning and peaceful escape for up to two people. The design of this Cabin, hosting and location ensures a high spec and comfortable visit to the Wiltshire/Dorset border.

Magical Pond House

The Pond House is in a little world of its own. Hidden among trees, on the edge of the mill pond, in spring it is surrounded by wild garlic and bluebells, in summer by bird song and the soft burbling of the Westbrook stream. Newly built to the highest environmental standards and using local wood, it is warm and exceedingly peaceful. It shares a private valley with the Enchanted Mill (16767255) and can be rented together or separately.

Waters Edge

This beautiful cabin sits right over our lake with amazing views 🦌 🦆 You will have Your own private lake with use of a rowing boat. Very spacious open plan Cabin with a roll top bath looking out right over the lake. Bike hire available Fully equipped kitchen with large dining table perfect for cooking up some lovely food! Smart TV and super king bed Local pub in walking distance 🍻

Open Plan Barn near Hungerford and Marlborough

The space is a sumptuous and comfy open plan barn adjacent to a Manor House set in 5 acres of garden. The barn is located near to popular Hungerford and renown Marlborough. A couple or single person could stay. No pets or babies allowed. They'll be a selection of cereals, bread, butter, jam and marmalade for you to have for breakfast.
