Hilda Cottage, lower Robin Hoods Bay!

Hilda Cottage is a 17th Century dwelling. The front door enters to the living area, downstairs is the equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a double bedroom (WC ensuite) with sea views, and main bathroom, up the next stairs is the loft bedroom (double & single bed) and sea views! The stairs are narrow & steep, see photos If you're after old and quaint, Hilda is your girl, if you're after brand new and modern, she probably isn't 💗 No private parking, see 'other details to note' section. Dryden Cottage, Whitby Harbour - Beach side

This cottage is all about the view! Beach-side location at the base of the 199 steps - perfect for exploring the beautiful historic town of Whitby. Browse in the eclectic independent shops and sample the finest seafood in the local eateries. Walk up to the abbey, stroll along the piers and collect fossils from the beach, take a ride on the steam train to the neighbouring villages and explore the moors. Please note due to the beach side location of the cottage, there is unfortunately no parking.

Demeter Cottage

Demeter Cottage is a traditional fisherman's cottage located in White Horse Yard, behind the cobbled streets in the heart of the old town. Its just a stone's throw from the beach, harbour, shops and restaurants/bars, but tucked away for peace and quiet. Sleeping up to 4 guests, featuring a kitchen and cosy living area with fire; together with a private outdoor space to catch the afternoon sun. Access is via a few flights of steps, so may not be suitable for people with mobility difficulty.

Cosy Cottage Close To 199 Steps, Perfect Location

The Shoemakers Cottage has undoubtedly one of the best locations in Whitby right at the bottom of the 199 steps tucked in a quiet alley off the cobbled street. A small but cosy romantic cottage over 3 floors close to the harbour, the abbey and very close to Tate Hill Beach. BBQ and picnic basket set provided. Romantic victorian freestanding bath in the main bedroom. Arrival is down the busy cobbled church street. Best location. On-street parking scratch card provided in the W zone 10min walk.

This unique, historic character cottage has been designed to maximise the stunning views over the bay. The beautiful ground floor bedroom has doors leading to the sunny courtyard. Off the bedroom is a en-suite. The 1st floor living area, is a spacious relaxing space with a well equipped kitchen. Free parking for 1 car. EV charging available. 45p pkw Guests must be 25+ There are multiple floors levels and various steps inside, the property isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Runswick Bay - Top Gallant - with great sea views

Top Gallant and is down in the Bay. The Bay is a small clutch of largely whitewashed cottages and is unique. We have a great south facing veranda with amazing views. The cottage faces south with views right across the bay. Bedding and towels provided. Free parking pass for the (“Homeowners car park). 3 nights minimum booking. No Pets. The property is not suitable for mobility problems due to steps. Check in 3pm. Check out 10.30am. I charge no cleaning fee but please leave tidy.

The Chapter House

The Chapter House is a spacious and quirky Grade II listed cottage nestled in the heart of Whitby. This central location is ideal for families and friends to use as a base to explore all that Whitby has to offer. The house started life in 1891 as a church Vestry and retains much of its original character. Please note, the church which it was part of is now a cafe and music venue. Beyond the Gothic stained glass windows, the Chapter house has all the modern amentities of a holiday hideaway

Situated on a narrow cobbled street just a yards off a main shopping street, there is Free nearby parking (scratchcard provided). See Whitby Abbey from the front door and the cliff top from the end of the road. Shop around the corner for milk, bread, newspaper or wine. Stylish cafes, restaurants, & micro brewery a few minutes away. Free wifi, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, spacious en suite and rainforest shower.

Also perfect for exploring the bustling fishing town of Whitby which is just a couple of miles down the road.

First floor is a light airy double bedroom, bathroom. Second floor is twin bedroom and snug with views. Steps up to the cottage.
