Historic Bonanza Inn Room 2 in Virginia City

This building was constructed in 1866 and served as the county courthouse when Virginia City was the territorial capital of Montana. Once the present courthouse replaced this one, 3 Catholic Sisters of Charity from Leavenworth, Kansas used the building to open St. Mary's Hospital for miners. The hospital briefly prospered before the placer gold was exhausted in. In 1940 Mr. Bovey remodeled the interior as a hotel but little has changed on the exterior from the eighteen seventies.

Palooza Basecamp Hotel is located in a newly remodeled, and refreshed 100 year old building. The rooms sport local artwork highlighting the area's beauty while comfortably accommodating your needs with adjustable beds, 50in TV's, walk-in showers, and backlit mirrors. A wide community hallway is flooded with natural light from skylights, while a cozy mountain feel is maintained. All rooms have access to additional amenities. Room 11 hosts two Twin XL beds.

This rustically beautiful two-bedroom King Suite has all the comforts of home. With a fully equipped kitchen, a large luxurious bathroom, and a spacious, yet cozy floor plan. This is a pet free home. You will be charged a $1000 fine if you bring a pet into this home.
