Our self contained open plan Koru cabin (that sleeps 5) offers the perfect getaway escape for families & couples. Perfectly located between rainforest and the ocean with only a two minute walk (past historic gold dredge ponds) to the beach. Mussels can be gathered off the rocks at low tide, or you may be lucky and pick up pounamu (jade.) Soak in our outdoor hot tub & snuggle up in front of the log burner fire in the cooler months. Breakfast included.
Our modern 1 bdrm cottage is deep in the countryside. No cafes, shops, street lights, light pollution and very few neighbours. Just birds, peace, bush and space. All amenites are a 10 minute drive away in Hokitika. With a king bed & a king single in one spacious bedroom, there is a separate lounge/diner/kitchen. An attached carport attached also contains the washer/drier. Please do not book, if you want a town location. The cottage is all about its remoteness and nature. (No Children sorry).
Situated within the native bush, our tiny house on wheels is stylish, comfortable and cosy. We designed and built it in 2018 and very proud to be able to share it with our guests. A range of hot drinks is provided and a selection of games and books for your entertainment. Only a 5-10 minute drive from town but feels like much further - a tranquil escape in the bush and the perfect place to relax.
A wonderful, relaxing hideaway that is only 10mins drive into the city and 20mins from the airport. You can dive into the pool or relax in the spa taking in the beautiful views of the city and the Alps beyond. Pool is heated during spring and summer. The studio has a small kitchen with a microwave and portable stove top but if you would like to eat out there are wonderful restaurants and bars only 2mins drive away. Fast wifi and a TV with Netflix and Sky Tv will make sure you are never bored.

Te Pahika ( the runaway) - was originally built in 1907 as a guards van and crashed at Moana in 1963. It literally did runaway.
