Get away from it all when you stay in our comfortable treehouse hut nestled under a canopy of native Karaka trees with a view of the harbour. Frankies treehouse hut is right next to Scorching Bay - one of Wellingtons best beaches. A perfect escape for nature lovers who want to get back to basics and enjoy the tranquility of the outdoors. PLEASE NOTE: There is no wifi or bathroom in the hut and the communal /shared shower and toilet is a 1 min walk away down the path. NOTE - NO SELF CHECKIN !

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

Come and enjoy sunset walks on the beach, our local brewery, a cosy cinema with great café and you will be spoilt for choice with lots of places to eat ethnic foods (dine in or take away). There are 2 spaces (bedroom ± separate kitchen/bathroom) a few steps apart & linked by a covered walkway. The cosy bedroom has a queen size bed, desk for work or eating, good WiFi & comfortable seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking & the bathroom has a great shower. The nook outside the bedroom is perfect for a morning coffee.

Warm Studio Apartment

Warm studio apartment in Eastern Wellington. Close to Wellington airport, Lyall Bay beach, Kilbirnie and Akau Tangi/ASB sports centre. The apartment is a self contained unit on the ground floor of a two story house. We live in the top floor with our three year old and newborn daughters so please expect to hear children. The front of the building has shared steps to access the property. There is a large deck outside the apartment with a washing line.
