Sit on the deck and enjoy the company of friendly cows basking in the evening sun, or gaze out of the picture window spotting the wildlife. The cabin is designed so that you can reconnect with yourselves and nature (there’s no TV!) - play board games, cook up something wonderful in the kitchen, or go exploring at one of the fabulous Somerset Levels nature reserves! Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. Enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the many birds in the surrounding trees or be a little more adventurous with the numerous local cycle routes. We look forward to meeting you on your stay. Wedmore is situated on the edge of the Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels, and is close to three incredible nature reserves as well as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Glastonbury. This is a great place for bird watchers and wildlife lovers, with excellent opportunities for walking and cycling right from the front door!

As we’re in a lovely countryside setting, you may spot some of our little neighbours such as spiders or other harmless insects who also enjoy the peace and quiet here.

Doris our shepherds hut

Doris our shepherd's hut is nestled in our paddock and meadow on the Somerset levels and has lovely views over neighbouring fields. It is close but not too close to our other hut Daphne and our annexe room Huberts. We are keen to encourage flora and fauna and manage the paddock accordingly. We are situated on the outskirts of a small village and the edge of the Somerset levels. We are ideally situated for sightseeing around Somerset. Daphne our other hut is also in the paddock.

Our annexe has been refurbished to provide a high-end environment, ideal for 2 adults to relax in. It is set in an area called the Allertons, a cluster of beautiful character villages. It is always a pleasure to stroll around. The pace is relaxed, the locals are very friendly and will direct you to the local pubs and shops if requested. The Mendip hills , Wells and Glastonbury are very near, and all offer so much for sight seekers.
