Greek Revival Farmhouse

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Pierce Farmhouse was built in 1870 as a wedding gift for a son. We have owned it for 20 years and have made another set of renovations to bring it back to its original charm and character while making it more comfortable with modern amenities. The farmhouse sits on 60 wooded acres in High Shoals and guests have access to our pond for fishing and river for canoeing. We are 20 minutes from Athens, and 15 minutes from Monroe and Madison.

Fabulous location less than a 5 minute walk to Town Center with restaurants, coffee, and stores within in easy reach. In the other direction from the house and you are less than a 10 minute walk to the new Wire Park with restaurants and brewery. Athens is close by, with UGA and Sanford Stadium 15 minutes away. House has hardwood and solid surface floors with all the extras you want for a comfortable stay. A large 1/2 acre corner lot gives you plenty of room and privacy.

The Nest, Charming Country Setting south of Athens

This guest suite is located above the detached three car garage across from the main house. Beautiful views of the countryside, including horses and chickens! Sanford Stadium and beautiful downtown Athens are just 14 miles north of us (a 22 minute drive). Historic Madison is 19 miles to the south of us. You are welcome to fish or kayak on our pond as well.
