Mountain cottage overlooking the sea

On the lushly green Mount Pelion, in an authentic village, our house combines access to the sea (10 km) and ski resort area (7 kms). It can serve as a base for walking or driving to the many pictureque villages and beaches of this mountain. The house includes a garden with shady trees, also cherries and apricots in their season, and is only two minutes away from a mini market, restaurant, pharmacie and the wonderful square. Fully equipped and provided with maps and books about the region.

Anavros Deck

Anavros Deck is situated on the seafront. It has a panoramic view to the sea and Volos' port. It is a walking distance to the center of the city along the esplanade and by the beautiful old park of Volos. It is also a few minutes walk to the Archaeological Museum of Volos, parks and playgrounds, great eating places, coffee shops and Anavros beach. Volos is a beautiful place to visit and an ideal basis for your summer and winter excursions to traditional Pelion villages and amazing beaches!

Ο χώρος φιλοξενίας "To Bee or not to Bee" είναι ένα διαμέρισμα 35 τ.μ. αποκλειστικής χρήσης του φιλοξενούμενου. Αποτελείται από ένα υπνοδωμάτιο, ένα μικρό σαλόνι το οποίο συνυπάρχει με μια κουζίνα καθώς και χώρο μπάνιου. Ο χώρος αυτός αφιερώθηκε στην μέλισσα, το έντομο που τόσο αγαπήσαμε ως οικογένεια και αποτελεί την κύρια απασχόλησή μας. Daria's home exclusive design perfectly blends with its surroundings and is built on a plot of land that feels secluded and sheltered by the nature. The 85m2 house boasts a large veranda with stunning sea views and a cozy and shady back yard. Large window openings gives the feeling of “touching” the eternal sea blue from most areas of the house. The house is professionally and beautifully built, furnished and equiped. Just 3 minutes walk from the amazing Agii Saranta beach.

I spent three years renovating this house and now it is ready! The house is located in a walking distance from the beach of Volos and from the center. It is outside Greek style, but inside Scandinavian. All the rooms have aircondition. Because it is in the end of an alley the place is very peaceful. You can experience an authentic Greek neighbourhood! Unfortunately not any kind of pets are allowed because my family also uses the house and we have seviere allergies.

The house stands in the historic village of Portaria Pelion and it is about 500 m. from the central square. It's altitude is 630m., and has a spectacular view to Pagasitikos and the town of Volos. You can enjoy this view not only from the balcony but also inside the house. Furthermore the Ski Centre of Pelion is only 14km. far and the city of Volos 12km. Last but not least the beautiful beaches of Pelion are located in 31km. from Portaria.
