Visit 'Casa Matilde', our beautiful yurt set in a family friendly environment on a terraced former vineyard above the stunning River Zezere. Experience off-grid living with the comforts of modern living thanks to solar technology. Decorated with a Moroccan theme, this light and airy space is also very cozy & romantic. Enjoy views of the river from the decking/yoga space or the bed. The yurt is in its own private garden space on a terrace surrounded by impressive schist stone walls & grape vines.

A 40m2 self-contained apartment on the ground floor of a traditional stone built farmhouse in a tranquil rural location. The apartment features a bedroom/living room with king side bed, sofa, smart TV, built in wardrobe, and dining table. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a wet-room and decked terrace with parasol and outdoor dining table. From May to October guests have use of a 6m x 3.75m pool and sun deck shared with the host who lives on site and guests in one other 2 person accommodation.

A casa oferece todas as comodidades para famílias ou amigos que queiram usufruir confortavelmente duma estadia numa aldeia típica portuguesa, Vila Facaia. Estamos numa localização privilegiada, a poucos minutos das praias fluviais do Mosteiro, Rocas e Poço Corga, das Barragens do Cabril e Bouçã, da Serra da Lousã, da Ribeira das Quelhas e de Fragas de S. Simão. Cidades próximas Coimbra, Pombal e Tomar.

Come and enoy the early autumn days with the rich changing of colours in the centre of Portugal. Get the peace and quiet of the countryside amidst forest lanes with the towns of Pedrogao Grande and Figueiro dos Vinhos with restaurants, supermarkets and shops about 9 - 11 kms away. The Barragem do Cabril, with an outdoor pizza restaurant (summer) and two well known river beaches are in close proximity. There is a local cafe and mini-market about 300 metres from Chale Pomba.
