Take a step back in time and sleep in a historical monument built in 1795 on this exquisite piece of farm property that has been lovingly restored. We practice regenerative farming and encourage biodiversity. This is a place to relax, reconnect and recharge. It is our happy place where we embrace all forms of wildlife and love our menagerie of domestic pets from pigs to turkeys to horses and lots of dogs. Not for you if you don’t like animals, if you do it’s paradise . WiFi in the garden only.

Karoo Country Style Guest suite

We would love you to stay in our Country Style guest suite, which is situated in a large leafy garden with a swimming pool, which guests are welcome to relax in and use. Secure parking is available on property. Our property has an inverter, which makes loadshedding less of a problem. The guest suit is attached to the main house but not shared with the main house. It has its own outdoor entrance and covered living area, so privacy is ensured. The light and airy rooms are decorated with love.

Off-the-grid stone cottage in the Little Karoo

Off grid cottage set in the heart of the Little Karoo within the Touwsberg Nature and Game Reserve. The reserve is well known for it's biodiverse fauna and flora and stunning scenery. Located off Route 62, midway between Barrydale and Ladismith, accessible with an average car/sedan, that has at least 17cm off ground clearance. The Cottage is well equipped, with indoor fireplace, cosy and completely private - the perfect Winter stay. Note: cell/3G reception requires a 2 minute walk; no wifi.

Beachcomber Cottage, is a bright and welcoming, solar powered holiday home, set in the beautiful Springerbaai Coastal Estate, with panoramic views of the sea, bay and mountains. The estate boasts access to a pristine sandy beach within around 600 meters from the cottage and also offers a bird hide for bird and game viewing. Everything about Beachcomber Cottage is stylish, fresh, comfortable , and quality. Perfect for couples and small family groups.

Perched on the edge of the apricot and peach orchards below, with views across the valley to the Swartberg Mountain range (where the sunsets will take your breath away), DeWaenhuis is the most ideal refuge from the world. The cottage is designed to be comfortable with all the modern amenities (wi-fi with UPS, TV, well-equipped kitchen) but rustic and authentically Karoo to transport you to another world, another time when life was just simpler.

The Beach House (Where the Dolphins play)

Protected against load shedding The Beach House is situated at the edge of a 20 km long beach. It is a timber house with a white washed finish on the inside. Uniquely located 30 meters from the sea and 5 meters from the Beach. Ideal for walking and relaxing. We generally have schools of Dolphins swim by twice a day throughout the year. Whales can be seen from time to time during the winter and early Spring See security below

The Eden Sanctuary

The Eden Sanctuary is perched high on a hill overlooking the old town, harbor and sea. Surrounded by green belt the bird life is rife and the area peaceful and quiet. The studio has a separate entrance and is private from the remainder of the house. The decor is luxurious and very comfortable with a small kitchenette, fitted with microwave and fridge and also a braai for your culinary needs.

3 Queen Street

3 Queen Street is a stand-alone property. The house and its facilities are for the private and exclusive use of guests. The house is not shared with other guests or the host. Guests who book the house will have the whole house to themselves for the amount of persons booked. Everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible is included.

5 bedroom 5 bathroom Beach House situated on the Garden Route in South Africa. Completely solar and gas powered so no disruption from load shedding. Situated in an Eco Reserve with uninterupted views of the Indian Ocean and private access to 2.5km of white sandy beach. Security access. 45min from George Airport. Private swimming pool.

'Uitspan' restored Karoo style Barn

Situated 7km off the R62 in the hamlet of Buffelsdrift is Uitspan's Barn. Tastefully restored, this quaint cottage has a comfy Queen size bed with en suite bathroom, antique Day bed that can sleep an extra person. Kitchen with fireplace and lounge plus outdoor terrace with braai and splash pool.

The Studio @ The Place

Escape to our retreat for nature lovers, in the magical untouched Klein Karoo, easily accessible from Route62 and the N2. The Studio is comfortable, modern and open plan with private shaded outdoor seating, spectacular views, a plunge pool and free wifi. It sleeps 4 plus two children.

Africa Inn-Chalet 2

Chalet 2 is perfect for two people, the bed can be made into King or Single bed. The Chalet has an en-suite bathroom with inside and outside showers. Own little kitchenet and dining table that walks onto the magnificent stoep with splash pool and barbeque.
