Nestled within the Jacoby Creek valley, near Humboldt Bay, with easy access to Arcata or Eureka; immersed in leafy surrounds, offering a variety of hiking and walking trails, perfect for nature lovers; this Guest House ensures peace and quiet while being only a very short drive to all amenities. The oversized covered front porch provides a weather protected outside living room area, ideal for gathering with friends and to enjoy the ducks and chickens that amble the expansive country yard.

On the Hammond Coastal Trail, cozy eco-friendly bedroom suite with expanded kitchenette, full bath, private entry, deck, yard, off-street parking. Set back hidden from the road in a bamboo oasis, it’s private and peaceful. Walk or bike to nearby river, beaches, forest. Or hop on the Highway 1/3 mile away. 3.5 miles to Airport, 30 to Redwood National & State Parks. We’ll share walls so you’ll sometimes hear me, though I try to be a considerate neighbor. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.

It is a small and simple cottage with three beds and all the necessities needed to cook. The cottage's main heat source is a gas fireplace. WIFI service is available, there is no tv/entertainment center, so bring your laptop if you want to.

Level 2 electric car charging outlet (NEMA 14-50). Well behaved pets ok.
