Our home is in the heart of 'Poldark Country' in West Cornwall close to the cliffs and moors. The area is renowned for the views, the light and the open space. The accommodation is a self contained flat attached to our house with it's own separate entrance. We are in a small village with a pub and Meadery less than 2 minutes walk away. Other attractions nearby are Geevor Tin Mine and St Just. St Ives, with it's artistic buzz and beaches, and busy Penzance are an easy drive or bus ride away.
My place is tucked away in the Hamlet of Bollowal, which is very close to the beautiful rugged and wild costal path of the West Penwith peninsula. A great location ideal for walkers and cyclists and those who love the great outdoors. I share my home with 2 dogs (large and small), and 1 very fluffy cat. The house has a bohemian, rustic charm, in other words homely not pristine.
St Just was once the centre of the West Cornwall mining landscape, now a world heritage site. Today, it is a bustling market town with pubs, shops and galleries all within 2 minutes walking distance of this cosy bedroom. Perfect for walking the coast path to St Ives, Landsend or Porthcurno - or jump in the car for short trips to Sennen Cove, Geevor Tin Mine and the Minack theatre or take the famous coast road to visit St Ives for the day.
