Our peaceful retreat sleeps up to four guests, making it the perfect base for couples, families, or friends looking to explore the National Park. We’re only 100 yards down the road from The Red Lion, serving homemade food and proper Cumbrian ales. You're just a 5-minute drive or a 45-minute walk from lake Coniston and a 20 minute drive to Coniston.

The Joiner's Cottage

Welcome to The Joiner's Cottage, a charming Lakeland house with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Situated in a small hamlet less than two miles from the village of Coniston, a 30 minute walk from the lake shore and just a 20 minute stroll along a public footpath to the local pub in Torver. The walk up the Old Man of Coniston starts at the front door. This spacious cottage sleeps up to 6 people and is very dog friendly. Pets cost £20.00 in total for their stay. (Just put 1 in the dog box).
