Lots of useful basics, plus milk, bread, tea, coffee and eggs are left for you. Meals can be eaten at the little kitchen table or outside on the patio when the weather is good. Step outside to catch the morning sun on the patio and enjoy the sea view towards Berry Head and Brixham and nearby Occombe woods, an idyllic spot for breakfast or evening sundowners. In sunny weather you can sit in the garden or take a bottle of wine and stoke up the BBQ. There are miles of coast, wood and moorland to explore; pubs and tea rooms along the way and hikers can head for the scenic South West Coast Path. Paignton Zoo and the Dartmouth Steam Railway are popular attractions and almost on the doorstep. National Trust properties at Compton, Collaton Fishacre, Greenway, Saltram and Killerton – all within easy reach by car.

We are situated on a quiet lane with sea views from the front of the house. We have a light and airy home with a large conservatory for sole use of guests. There is a large rear garden with furniture which you are welcome to use and a front porch area with seating that guests are welcome to make use of. A cat called Flo lives in the house. She is not allowed in the bnb area. There is parking for one car on the drive. We have a large garden with table and chairs for guests to use.

Our property provides very comfortable accommodation for groups of up to 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, including one downstairs bedroom with en-suite. The Spanish Boathouse is on Galmpton Creek and is close to Dartmouth, Dittisham, the beaches of Torbay and the South Hams, with footpaths, golf, restaurants and decent pubs nearby. The Boathouse is right on the River with launching and mooring available by arrangement. The views and sunsets are spectacular. The Boathouse is available for couples and singles. If you need separate beds, there is a sofa bed in the lounge.
