Our little oasis is walkable to breathtaking trails, and a short drive to downtown Topanga, state parks and beaches.

Welcome to the Zen Den, a cozy studio retreat nestled in the Topanga hillside. This cozy space features a plush queen canopy bed, en-suite bath, and a kitchenette for light meals. Enjoy easy access to local attractions including cafes and restaurants, village shops, hiking trails with breathtaking views, and Malibu beaches.

Enjoy Universal Studios, Hollywood or Malibu and return home to a private Cottage. French doors on a deck invite you to a charming flowered garden with a stunning mountain views. The Cottage is a totally private, free standing residence. The Valley is 10 minutes away. We are pet friendly and accept most dog breeds. The Cottage has a fully functional kitchen, great WIFI, its own washer and drier and private parking.

Oak Forest Retreat

Topanga is a quiet village in the Santa Monica Mountains. Its name means “Where the mountains meet the sea”. We are in an ancient oak forest in beautiful nature just walking distance to Topanga State Park and its hiking trails. It’s only 10 min to the beach/Malibu and 20 min to Santa Monica/Venice or Woodland Hills. The town center with restaurants, grocery stores, gift shops and our library are close.

Topanga Sanctuary in the Oaks

Our studio under the Oaks is like a tree house with a large deck area for you to unwind, explore and enjoy! The home is on a very quiet street that dead ends into the state park. Most of the traffic is neighbors walking dogs :-) The studio is attached to the main house but is completely separate, there is no access to the main house. I look forward to having the opportunity to host you!

On the water! Gorgeous 3 Bdrm Home w/ hot tub

Last January, wildfires burned about 12 houses immediately south of our house. Malibu is in a period of rebuilding. Check tide charts for your dates so you know when low tide is (Our beach is accessible at low tide). Our house does not have AC (we provide fans and there’s always a breeze, so expect to sleep with windows open).
