Brookside Cottage, Kelsale, Suffolk Coast

This charming recently modernised two bedroom end-terrace holiday cottage in the centre of the village conservation area sleeps up to four. It is perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Coast, historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings and is a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Up to two well behaved pets allowed. Note: there are 2 padded low beams and steep stairs. The garden is enclosed by hedging and fencing but it is not dog proof.

With a private gate to the beach, Spinney’s Boathouse is perched beside the sea in the magical village of Thorpeness, next to the main house. Groups of up to six guests are welcome to stay here and indulge in all that this fantastic holiday destination has to offer. Thorpeness is home to a heathland Golf course and Country Club. During the warmer months there’s boating and kayaking on The Meare and the village is home to The Dolphin Inn, The Kitchen and a popular café next to the Meare.

This Suffolk pink cottage, built in 1830, is located in a great position at the north end of the high street within easy reach of the independent shops, eateries, and the wonderful shingle beach stretching to Thorpeness. Interiors retain all the old world charm with low ceilings and diamond lattice windows through the cosy living room, dining room and kitchen on the ground floor; two doubles and two singles on the first floor with the family bathroom, plus an outside cloakroom.

Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

The cottage has fields in-front filled with alpacas and behind fields of cereals.We have off road Parking, under floor heating. Private Patio garden and shared access to a large garden. We supply all bedding and the 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 with a fully equipped Kitchen. From July 23 we have built a another holiday home next door called Lilac cottage. This cottage sleep 6 people.
