Easy to eat, familiar and convenient, it’s not hard to see why banh mi has become popular all over the world. Hoi An is home to ‘the best banh mi’ – the now famous Banh Mi Phuong. What started off as a small banh mi stall in the Hoi An market has now expanded into a restaurant serving many of Hoi An’s Best Specialties.

Undeniably the best place in all of Vietnam and perhaps the world to indulge in a great banh mi - a fantastic crispy warmed baguette and an excellent mixture of tasty goodness stuffed inside.

As a "national" dish of Vietnam, Hoi An bread is still very much sought after in all shared Hoi An travel experiences. A loaf of "full" bread with char siu, grilled meat, pork rolls, pate and homemade butter sauce, pickles ... will be enough to appeal to anyone, whether you are a believer of this dish or not. .
