Definitely a Sligo Favorite. They do great salad and the mains change daily. Lovely breakfast, my favorite is their French toast.

A good, casual cafeteria-style restaurant with classic Irish dishes for breakfast and lunch. Reasonably priced and usually busy, but seating and wait times aren’t typically a problem.

Lyons Café and Bakeshop on Quay St, in the centre of Sligo town, is run by owner Gary Stafford. Perfectly located in the centre of Sligo, Lyons Cafe is on the first floor of the 1878 established Henry Lyons department store. Lyons Café opened its tearooms in 1926 and continues to this present day having an in-house dedicated bakery and patisserie on the ground floor.
