Vintage trains, trams planes and interactive scientific displays for the children.
An amazing collection of technology, especially the original Sunderland flying boat.
Roll down the hill to MOTAT, have a picnic in Western Springs and visit Motat at a leisurely pace. There is a tram ride to MOTAT2 which features all things aviation.
I find it more interesting than Auckland museum. you can find old vaccuum cleaners, old irons, old light switches, old police cars, steam train, old bedrooms, old pharmacy even old underwear😸. you can walk or take a bus.
Fun and interactive exhibits for kids of all ages. Right next door to the Zoo and also Western Springs Park. You can do them all in a day if you are feeling up to it. 13.7km from Tui Glen Road.
