A short one-mile hike gets you a fabulous view. Or take the West Cliff Trail for a five mile loop. In winter the road is not plowed from the Brookline side and access is from the Putney side.

A quick hike from the Trail Head up to the pinnacle will give you a great 360 degree view of the local ridge lines, Stratton, Bromley, Mt. Snow and more. In spring and fall enjoy the Hawk Migration.

“Easy to moderate hiking with a beautiful overlook as reward. Informative signposts along the way provide information about surroundings of historical significance. At one point, the path flows through woods featuring grasses growing among tall maples. Very unusual landscape you should see.”
