Wide variety of bagels. Historical Landmark. Famous for First Mass-Producing Bagel Machine invented by local Louis Wichinsky (600 bagels/hr) that is displayed on exhibit annually at the bag festival. They wouldn't make 25,000 bagels a week if it wasn't good. Family owned by the Fleischman's since 1967. Drive-Thru & Dine-In Options.

The Monticello Bagel Bakery was founded in 1967 by the Fleischman family. It is owned and run by second and third generation Fleischmans. It was one of the first bagel bakeries to venture out of the N.Y.C. area. Monticello Bagel Bakery has operated and prospered because of it's strong roots to Monticello and Sullivan county. By far the best bagels you will ever have in the region!
