A little pricey, but worth it. This is a favourite for faculty hosting invited speakers visiting U Waterloo & Laurier. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the chef/owner is renowned.
Best Restaurant in town possibly. Pricey, but worth it for a memorable meal!
in Waterloo, but unforgettable ... undeniably my favourite restaurant and one you wont forget!
Specializes in Indonesian cuisine but has dishes from many Asian cultures. Excellent food, very casual.

“The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is the largest year-round farmers’ market in Canada. It is popular for residents as well as tourists drawing about 1 million visitors annually. From mid April to the end of October you can take a horse-drawn trolley tour which includes an Old Order Mennonite farm where you will learn about Mennonite culture. From the beginning of March to mid April the tour will take you to a nearby sugar bush to learn about maple syrup production. St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is a 25 minute drive away. ”
