This establishment is known as THE tamale establishment in Texas. With shipping nationwide, I very much recommend trying this place for yummy tamales at an every more yummy price!

You haven't experienced true tamales until you try Delia's. With multiple locations throughout the valley, it sure is the local favorite. I like the chicken and cheese. Their salsas are to die for. During Christmas, local police patrol the stores to prevent violence and theft by poor souls who forgot to reserve their tamales in advance...

Deliah's tamales are legendary in the Rio Grande Valley. There are multiple locations. This particulat location is the closest to Peculiar Nest, and there is an amazing tortilla store next door to it. I like to order Chicken and Cheese and the Veracruzano. Be sure to get some corn tortillas and Oaxaca cheese from the tortilla store next door to make quesadillas at home.
