Situated in the old grounds of Pentridge Prison, this is a lovely cafe in a once notorious gaol. Worth wandering around, and Coburg Lake is close.

Consistently great food and service. They change their specials menu every three weeks. So always something new to try. Last visit, I took my sister and to compliment the food, we ordered the hot chili choc chai. AMAZING. They can get very busy at times, which is always a good sign they're done something right. But the venue is huge and also includes a generous outdoor area. The staff are always friendly and up for a laugh too. Highly recommended while you're in the area.
