Fish's Yurt - Romantic Luxury Escape

This traditional four season Mongolian Yurt features it’s own bathroom, kitchen, living area and queen size bed. It is heated with a thermostatically controlled fireplace. We are located four hours north of Toronto in one of the most beautiful areas of Ontario, Almaguin Highlands between Killarney Provincial Park, Grundy Provincial Park, Restoule Provincial Park and Algonquin Provincial Park. Fish's Yurt is located on Seagull Lake, a short 10 minute stroll down a private trail to the lake.

Moonflower Yurt

Get back to nature at Stella Matutina Farm’s Moon Flower Yurt. Located on a 10 acre , working Biodynamic farm in the heart of the Waterloo Recreation Area. The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, and woodstove in the yurt. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

Quiet Retreat for Two

Spend a starry night in the country with the comfort of a soft bed, a wood stove, and plenty of space both indoors and out. Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Forest Yurt

Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

YurtCation

YurtCation is a relaxing getaway with lake frontage and nature trails. There is another yurt about 300ft up the same driveway. There are a total of two yurts and two homes that have access to the same 17 acre lake. Each yurt is off the grid and has their own queen-sized comfy bed, wood stove, Weber grill w/charcoal, fire pit, firewood, fresh water, canoe, and clean Porto Potty. Pet Policy: Max two - Must be in your sight and supervised at all times or $500 fine and check out immediately.

Salmon River Wilderness Camp: Yurt & 300 acres

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, we're also near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park and the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

Perry Pines Yurt | Unique Couple’s Stay - Lake

The Perry Pines Yurt is a 4-season yurt on Perry Lake less than 2 miles from Cable. With quick access to CAMBA mountain bike trails (4 miles to the North End Trailhead), the Birkie Start Area (5 miles), and on an ATV route, it's a great basecamp for your outdoor activities. Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking

This accommodation is rustic with newly constructed washroom facilities near by. A Farm experience is also available. Snowshoeing or skiing trails are nearby or on the farm. Spa (hot tub and sauna) is available for private booking for 2 people for a $125 extra fee
