We are a small acreage just 15 minutes from Iowa City, 7 minutes from Solon, and 30 minutes from the Cedar Rapids airport. Our converted barn is at the back of the property, behind the house. There is a separate road leading back to the barn for super convenient parking. It’s rustic, cozy, warm and inviting.

This 1840's miner's cottage in the heart of Galena is only 3 blocks from beautiful, historic and fun Downtown Galena Main Street, but is far enough to have quiet times in the quarter acre yard of perennial gardens as well the expansive 2 story front porch, and 3rd porch off the kitchen, with gas grill. The house sits on a corner lot in the Galena National Historic District. The bathroom and kitchen are newly remodeled and the entire house is designer decorated. Beautiful!

In-room sink, & 2 shared bathrooms. The house is 123 years old, there is NO insulation NO heat in the main part of this summer house & bedrooms. Heated: kitchen, 3 piece bath & TV room for your use. This historic (1800's), 3 bedroom, cedar log cabin is nestled within a 2 acre rustic private island on the Michigamme River, just 300 feet from the shoreline. Flexibility is key. You will need to row or take the simple pontoon with a basic electric motor over to your own private island.(Or let us know you need assistance, and we will make sure someone is there when you arrive.)

An enchanting 1886 Historical Italianate home located in New Baltimore, Michigan. "The Alvinia Room" is a ground level room with a Queen bed and private bathroom.
