Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Serenity Tiny House Located Near Top Attractions!

The house sits on the Mountain Shire property (check out our insta @mountainshire) located minutes from top attractions in Pigeon Forge (e.g. Dollywood), Gatlinburg and Smoky Mountain National Park. Enjoy 200 sq. ft. of living space that includes WiFi, a loft with queen-sized bed, living room with sofa-bed and RokuTV, kitchenette (Keurig coffee pods) and bathroom with shower. Outdoor amenities include a private chiminea + lounge chairs, and shared fire pits, secluded deck in the woods and BBQ.

Wee Nook- a Hobbit Hole

Wee Nook is a 360 square foot living space with a full kitchen and bathroom. It is tucked underground in the middle of the woods. Please come enjoy the woods, farm animals, trails, pond and wide open space while you're here! As JRR Tolkien said: “In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hold, and that means comfort.”

Perched on the edge of a cliff, this cabin offers incredible views of Byrd Creek below. A short minute walk along a historic moss covered wagon trail brings you to an outdoor kitchen and clean bathhouse. Several large ceiling fans and insulation keeps the cabin comfortable in summer.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Beautiful sunsets overlooking Watts Bar lake. Deer in the yard every evening at sunset. Great fishing, plenty of room for boat parking.
