Important disclaimer: Please DO NOT book this cabin if you have concerns about snow and ice! This cabin is located at an elevation of about 8000 feet above sea level. During winter months a 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicle or chains on your tires may be required to make it up the driveway to the cabin! The driveway is steep and although we pay for it to be plowed it is nearly impossible to keep all snow and ice off the driveway or walkways in between snow storms.

Located 10 minutes from the town of Florissant, CO, my home is located on 5 acres with stunning views of Pike's Peak and other neighboring mountain ranges. The rental is remodeled and is the whole first floor of the house. You have your own entrance, so you can enjoy your privacy. Your host is a park ranger and earth science educator and can offer you local recommendations to make the most out of your time in the Rocky Mountains! I live on the second floor of this home.

Located on the western edge of Victor, our mountain home is a scenic and quiet haven. To the southwest stands the Sangre de Christo mountain range and directly west the majestic Collegiate Peaks. The vista reminds us daily that “we get to live here.” On a clear night, skies of stars await you. Make sure you can climb the stairs for a good night’s rest. We welcome you to our home. May you find yourself comfortable, relaxed and refreshed.

Come experience and enjoy your private camping adventure on 5 secluded acres. Experience many local attractions that Central Colorado is most famous for which adds to the appeal of this location. After enjoying your daytrip, return to relax or hike your wooded acres at an elevation of 9350 ft. Cook your favorite outdoor meals on the propane BBQ grill. At the end of your day, cozy up to the propane fire pit and relax under the stars.
