The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Each side is rented separately, but both can be reserved together for larger groups or families. Nestled on a quiet street, this retreat offers easy access to nearby attractions. Explore the charm of Ephrata, the unique shops of Lititz, and the highlights of Lancaster—all a short drive away. Relax and unwind!

A lovely place to experience "Gemütlichkeit" (coziness) in a storybook Bavarian-style Village. Overlooking the fountain, you are centrally located on the Plaza. Should your plans include exploring the area, you're ideally located between Reading and Lancaster and just off a PA Turnpike interchange, even Hershey Park is a short drive away; we're an ideal spot as a base to tour the PA Dutch region while staying in "Kleine Bayern." Our goal was to create a cozy and quiet place to relax in or as a home base for checking out the area. Most of Lancaster Co. is less than a 30 min. drive away. A cafe, pizza shop and ice cream shop (the best!) are about 1/2 mile away. Many more are close by in the town of Ephrata or just a few miles farther in the town of Lititz-home of Wilbur chocolate. You will have your own space in our home, but separated by a locked door.

Cute, clean and cozy best describes this little house in the country. Minutes from PA turnpike, 222 and 272, you are set to be in Lancaster or Reading in under 30 min.
