The self-contained apartment is spacious and well-equipped containing a bathroom, comfortable double bedroom and lounge/diner including a sofa-bed with large bay window with Abbey views. Accessed up one flight of stairs.

Abbey View Cottage

Abbey view is a hidden gem, situated on Bagdale. The cottage is a short walking distance from the centre of Whitby with restaurants, cafes and pubs on hand. The cottage itself is split over three levels and as per the namesake, the property boasts views of the Abbey from the lounge balcony. The bi-fold doors lead to the balcony which is perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening drinks. Although recently renovated, Abbey View retains its original charm with beautiful furnishings throughout.

Beautifully converted, airy hideaway near Whitby

Sleights is a gem of a village on the outskirts of Whitby and at the foothills of the Moors. You will stay in a beautiful airy converted self contained studio which has its own entrance and is part of a large Victorian Villa (there are steps leading down into the garden - may not be suitable for those with limited mobility). Guests will enjoy the privacy of the Hideaway with their own outside area. They can relax on the luxury Simba mattress that promises a good nights rest after a busy day.

A lovely self catering holiday apartment,sleeps 2 and dogs are welcome. It’s situated above the lovely laurel inn pub. The kitchen/lounge area has WI-FI,recliner and easy chair,and a table and chairs. The bedroom has a quality double bed,hanging space and a smart t.v. Bedding and towels are provided. The bathroom has a shower,toilet,sink and a heated towel rail. ACCESSIBILITY- we are sorry to say that our rooms are not suitable for those with limited mobility,due to the steepness of stairs.

Private entrance, sleeps maximum 4 people: 2 people in main bedroom with one double bed and 2 people in one smaller room with one double bed. Please note sofas in the lounge are NOT sofa beds. Grade II Listed, near 199 Steps, Tate Beach and with a fabulous view out onto the cobbles of historic Church Street. Perfect for Winter weekends with a real fire available from October to April. Great in Summer for getting out to explore all that Whitby and its surrounding area has to offer.

Kindly Light is in the old Wesleyan Chapel in the heart of our beautiful fishing village, close to the Beck where you can watch the boats come and go, and a short walk to the sea. It has been sensitively converted reusing much of the original wood interior, creating lovely light and atmosphere. It is comfortably furnished with everything you need for a perfect stay. Situated in the centre of Whitby, close to the swing bridge, on the historic church street with views over the harbour, you are just a stroll away from the shops, bars and restaurants that can be found in the bustling streets of this town. A shared entrance takes you up the stairs to the flat which is in the eaves of the Grade two listed, Victorian building, with amazing views from the Velux windows.

This beautiful apartment is refurbished to a high standard. It is comfortable, romantic and very self-contained. It is on the second floor, 2 floors above Cobbles coffee/ice cream and gift shop. There is a completely separate entrance for the apartment around the side of Cobbles. The views down the cobbled High Street to the front of the property are quaint and pretty. To the back there are stunning views over the Beck. Free WiFi is available too.
