The Churchside Well

Churchside Well is centred around something you won’t find anywhere else, a historic well, preserved beneath a circular glass floor feature within the living space. Recently renovated to a high standard, the annex blends exposed stonework, warm lighting and bold design touches with modern comfort. The result is a characterful yet contemporary coastal retreat in the peaceful village of Ravenscar. Was managed by Host & Stay, they didn’t provide the service we wanted so now managing it ourselves.

You’ll have plenty to enjoy at this rustic quirky cottage in a picturesque setting. A converted small barn with exposed beams and quirky features this will be a break to remember, with a lovely double bed and modern bathroom , fully equipped kitchen , cosy lounge with log burner (please bring extra wood ) electric heating throughout also,sky tv and wifi , outside seating area out side the cottage and a path to the garden where you can enjoy the views of the surrounding dale, very cosy cottage.

Cabin Retreat, with dog paddock and outdoor bath

Relax & unwind as you enjoy the views over field & forest from the patio. Just open the door and let your dog have fun in the fully fenced paddock. Explore the footpaths that lead through undulating landscapes almost from the door. Take a scenic drive to Whitby, Scarborough & dine out at the numerous places to eat. Call at the village shop for supplies as you return to The Cabin. At the end of the day relax in the quirky candlelit outdoor bath whilst watching the stars in the Dark Sky Reserve.

Harwood Cottage is a very cosy self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park set in 150 acres of a private estate. It is central to all the local costal towns like Whitby and Scarborough. It is perfect for couples as it is very private and secluded location yet just a 10-15 minute drive to the local towns. Sleeping up to 4 ( king & super-king/2 singles) with dogs welcome, The Barn at Flaxston Gill is a rural idyll and the perfect getaway location for those seeking peace and tranquillity. The Barn is well equipped throughout – fine linens in the bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen (including climate-controlled wine storage). Free wi-fi, a bluetooth sound system and smart TV. Outside is a part-walled, sandstone patio with table and chairs and a large field which you are welcome to access.

The carriage is nestled in a field to the back of a working farm, surrounded by fantastic views and natural beauty, it is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or relaxing evening following a days walk along the Cleveland Way. Children are welcome at the carriage and additional sleeping is available on the day bed in the living area.

Our Mini Pod is situated near the coastline & the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, Between Whitby & Scarborough. Driving to either is a breeze, Scarborough is about 15 mins away & Whitby about the same. Our site is a few minutes away from the Old Scarborough to Whitby Railway line ( also known as the Cinder track ) a walker & bike friendly trail. The Cleveland Way also in walking distance. Our site is small but friendly and over looks the peaceful countryside. Adults only
