'The Cottage'

‘The Cottage’, is a cosy, self-contained cottage situated in the lovely Kaitoke countryside, a 40 minute drive from Wellington; 20 from the Wairarapa and 10 from Upper Hutt. 'The Cottage', is also the perfect location for access to the Rimutaka Incline Trail and Aston Norwood Gardens & Cafe. It is a modern two-bedroomed cottage, which could accommodate up to four guests. From the lounge, you can enjoy watching the animals play in the paddock below or the birds fluttering around in the trees.

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric blanket and heat pumps. There is a smart TV Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

Greytown Yurts - Luxurious Glamping Experience

Greytown yurts is luxury accommodation with all the fun and appeal of glamping but with total comfort. There is a ducted heat pump to keep you comfortable all year round. The interior offers a luxurious and calming environment, with beautiful views across our garden. It has a very comfortable king size bed (183 * 203 cm), with superior linen, bedding, towels and robes. A one off cleaning fee and 20% service charge will be added to the price. Lively village centre 1.5 kms away, with a well stocked local shop, a fruit and veg shop, 3 cafes and a family friendly pub, railway station, regular music gigs and starting point for the famous Escarpment walk. It is an easy train or drive to Wellington.
