A beautiful wood stove for winter heat or chilly evenings, queen size bed, battery operated lights, and a humanuer toilet. Nestled among many acres of state forest, including nearby lakes, and many miles of trails for hiking or skiing. Wonderful as a retreat space or vacation haven. Sorry, no children, no pets. Location 16 miles west of Ann Arbor, surrounded by state forest. Breakfast included, lovingly prepared by natural foods caterers and delivered to your cabin at pre-arranged times. Most special diets can be accommodated deliciously. Hanuman The main house has some ashes from Neem Karoli Baba in the foundation. He is believed to be a physical incarnation of Hanuman, the Hindu God of Service. We wish to give respite and good food to service workers, whether your service is to your family, friends, job, or the world.

Dream home in the woods (Sister lakes area)

We are renting out a 2 Bedroom Appartment (lower level) in our house/duplex. It has a separate entry and is located in a tree rich area. A natural area begins right behind the house. The sister lakes are in a 3 min walking distance. The apartment is conviniently located in Ann Arbor - 2.2 mi to Downtown - 3.5 mi to the Big House - 2.8 mi to UofM central campus A bus stop and a great coffee place (19 Drips) are in walking distance. Please make sure to enter the right amount of guests ;-)

The yurt sits in its own private space in the forest. Visit the farm animals, historic barn and vegetable gardens. Fire pit, outhouse with compost toilet, outdoor solar shower, gas grill and yurt woodstove. Visit the quaint towns of Grass Lake and Chelsea or go swimming in one of several nearby lakes. Mountain bike and hiking trails close by.

If you need any baby or toddler items, we can provide things like baby gates, bed rail, pack n play, high chair, etc. A Christmas tree can be provided for holiday bookings.
