Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The house is next to the pub and a stones throw from the church. The Newt and Hauser Wirth Gallery in Bruton are within a 15 minute drive.

The Pear Tree is a light, airy annexe and adjoins a large country house on the outskirts of Street in Somerset. Only a mile from the town centre yet surrounded by fields and a cider orchard. The tree lined drive leads to the main house and three acres of garden. Own entrance, private terrace and parking. Open plan living room, wood stove, TV, large futon. Large, well equipped spacious kitchen. Two bedrooms (sleeps four), family bathroom and downstairs shower room.

Venturing further afield you can spend the day on the Jurassic Coast or visit some of the many National Trust properties in the area.
