A terrific writer/artist retreat while the family plays on the lake, does a few hiking trails, or takes in the nearby town of Tulsa (a short 28 min drive) for sightseeing activities such as the Botanica Gardens, Aquarium, Tulsa Zoo, shopping, museums, etc. The Osage Casino is 4 miles away and downtown Skiatook only 3 miles further. The perfect spot to disconnect from technology and reflect as you watch deer from the screened in back porch.

Adults and kids alike will enjoy the generous amenities and whimsical room decorations - we don't take ourselves too seriously and hope our place can offer you an entertaining space to relax, de-stress and enjoy yourself after travel (and hopefully distract the kids for a while). Our neighborhood also offers plenty to do - scenic fishing ponds, a playground, and a community pool (open seasonally).

Great getaway location! You are entirely to yourself. Overlook is "attached to main house...but not "in" main house. Private entrance, no shared spaces. Very private & tranquil space! Relax in a country setting with "to die for" panoramic views from 90 feet above the water. Wildlife galore, including Bald Eagles. Wake up in your private suite at Whispering Lillies Hollow, overlooking a peaceful pond and 10 acres of wooded land. Winter brings a quiet magic as the pond freezes over and wildlife moves gently through the trees. Spend your days wandering the property or heading out for a nature hike, then unwind in the evenings playing games, watching a movie on the 55-inch smart TV, roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, or cooking together on our custom-made grill—spacious enough to feed a crowd.

Enjoy fishing, boating, hiking, or just relaxing on the back patio that adjoins the corps land. Located in a small quiet neighborhood with lake access by golf cart or a short walk out the back door. A full service marina, floating restaurant, and boat ramp one mile away. The home has a split floor plan with private on suites for both guest bedrooms, a flex room for gaming/kids play or can sleep 2 guests with an air bed, and a spacious well equipped kitchen with a large dining table.

Genes Dream: Lakefront Retreat Skiatook Lake

Relax and watch the sunset in the cool ac after a hot day on the lake or in the hot tub on chilly days. This lakefront home is near Cross Timbers Marina where boats and slips are often available for rental. Ideal for family gatherings. Note: No easy access to the lake. A steep unmaintained trail leads to the shoreline which is also not maintained. Hot tub is seasonal and may not be available during warmer weather. Contact host for off season rates. Minimum 3 nights on holiday weekends

Quiet & Secluded Cabin at Skiatook Lake

Our cabin is situated on 5 acres of wooded property, with one main bedroom/living area, one bath, kitchen and laundry room. Outdoor deck overlooks the lake. Kitchen has refrigerator, stovetop/oven, and dishware/utensils for preparing meals. Basic amenities: washer & dryer, Keurig coffee maker, microwave, television, outdoor firepit, and outdoor grill. Located 10 miles west of Skiatook on hwy 20. There's a walking trail to the lake and also a tent site outside. Close to Black Dog ramp.
