Kangaroo Cottage - Hills Retreat BnB

Kangaroo Cottage is an adults only retreat, surrounded by majestic Jarrah trees and wildlife. Guests have a wonderful opportunity to escape the city & immerse themselves in the serenity of the hills. Please be aware that the cottage is located on our family hobby farm & the sounds of our animals are a part of the Kangaroo Cottage experience. Our property is not suitable for pets or children. A light breakfast of croissants & condiments will be provided for the first morning of your stay.

Only an hour from Perth, Mulberry Cabin is the perfect location for that quick getaway to recharge and relax in the country air... Come and take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway located in the quiet hills of Serpentine. The Cabin is only minutes from nearby attractions like Serpentine Falls and Serpentine Dam, King Road Brewery, Millbrook Winery and the amazing walking and pushbike trails of Jarrahdale. The property boasts free ranging chickens and ducks and Tavish, our highland cow.

Serpentine-y Luxury Country Escape

Check in after 2pm. Check out by 10am. Unfortunately, no children. Serpentine-y is nestled in the picturesque and serene Serpentine hills. 1hr from Perth, this boutique equestrian farm is an ideal escape. The modern accommodation includes a private grassed area to soak up the tranquillity. The farm backs onto the Serpentine National Park and is a short walk from Serpentine Falls and Munda Biddi trails. Perfect for a quiet, restful weekend or for those explorers with an adventurous spirit!

Close by is the picturesque town of Serpentine and its many local attractions including Serpentine Falls and Dam, MillBrook Winery and King’s Brewery. A wonderful spot to relax and unwind complete with stunning views, birdsong and sheep peacefully grazing.

Peaceful Hilltop Retreat

Escape to our cozy studio, a quiet hideaway set among the hills. Accessed via a gravel road, you will be surrounded by native trees and wildlife. With no WI-FI this retreat offers a genuine chance to slow down, switch off, and reconnect with nature. The retreat is located 50 minutes from Perth Airport. We live in the adjoining house on the property, so help is nearby if needed, while your accommodation remains private and self-contained. There is still 5G reception available at the suite.

Rustic bush retreat

The large shed at the back of our property has been converted into a rustic and spacious living area, including a private bedroom and bathroom. On-site recording studio (Brillysh Studios) also available for hire. The property is walking distance to Jarrahdale tavern, two local cafes, Milbrook Winery and popular hiking and riding trails. Enjoy a dip at the various waterfalls along the serpentine river either by hike or 15 min drive to the main falls for a swim & selfie with a friendly Roo.

Oakford Family Farm Stay

Come unwind and interact with nature. A modern 2 bed, 2 bath house on a 5 acre farm, located in Oakford (25 mins from Perth city). Enjoy the tranquility of rurality but the convenience of being close to shops and amenities. Come hand feed the alpacas, sheep, chickens and ducks. Each booking will get a free container of animal feed daily. Pick eggs from the hens. All bookings include bed linen, towels, kitchen appliances. BYO food and drinks. Let your kids connect and enjoy nature.

The Adults Only Oakford Oasis is the best of both worlds with its private rural location in close proximity to Perth CBD, Perth airport, beaches, walking trails, and much more. Our property is not suitable for pets or child Enjoy the private studio separate from the main dwelling. The studio is semi self contained with a private bathroom and courtyard. Guests have access to Pool area, BBQ, outdoor fire pit, and walking trail.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

Our luxury BNB is just 5 minutes outside the beautiful timber town of Jarrahdale. Bordering Serpentine National park. We are 5 minute drive to the Township which includes a Tavern, Post Office, General Store. Also Millbrook Winery, The Quarry Farm and several other venues which makes this BNB perfect for a stopover. We offer a delicious continental breakfast every morning of your stay for you to enjoy at your leisure.
