The Old Music Room

The Old Music Room is in the beautiful and special village of Geldeston, in the Broads National Park. It’s a super-insulated ecologically-built guest house clad in traditional oak boarding, with a living wild-flower roof and stunning views directly out over the Waveney Valley. Geldeston is a glorious place to be and enjoyed by many visitors. The village is on the river Waveney with lots of places to access the river, very popular with walkers, cyclists and boaters. Walking distance to 2 pubs.

Barsham Old Hall Cowshed

The Old Hall Cow Shed is located on an idyllic organic smallholding surrounded by woodland in the beautiful Broads National Park. It is ideal for a family break, for small groups of cyclists or walkers or for a quiet break for a couple. It is fully equipped but does NOT have a TV. There are games, books, music, fresh air and an amazing pub just 15 minutes walk across the marshes. The accommodation has solar PV, solar water heating, a wood burning stove and is insulated with sheep's wool.

Accommodation is on three levels with a large double bedroom, kitchen diner leading to the shower room and toilet, and lounge area containing a double sofa-bed. A conservatory off the lounge leads to a utility room with downstairs toilet and a south facing patio area. Off-road parking included.

Your young child/ren too can experience glamping, we can set up a chair bed with a mattress topper for a cosy stay. Den building in the meadow will be a delight as they embrace nature around them. We are 20 mins from Aldburgh Carnival, Lattitude, Snape Maltings and Sizewell. 20 Miles from Norwich . 20 mins from local beaches Southwold and Walberswick 10mins from St Peters Brewery and the Raw milk shed in Flixton where the famous Baron Bigod cheese is made, there are also lots of local produces breads, meats, pizza ,vegetables. 2mins on to Norfolk +Suffolk Aviation museum.
