The cottage has just been upgraded, with full solar electricity, electrical appliances, wifi and remote work station. Oom Org is situated 7 km from Dullstroom and can accommodate a maximum of 4 guests. This is a charming stone cottage in a private setting on a farm, excellent fishing opportunities in a well-stocked dam on the doorstep. The self-catering stone chalet consists of one en-suite double bedroom and an open loft with two single beds. It boasts beautiful views over the dam and valley.

The Bakoni Hide-Away is an off-the-grid retreat, ideal for a romantic getaway for lovers of the African bush. Unfenced, it is set on a remote spot on the side of a mountain with abundant birdlife, buck and other game around. The design was inspired by the many stone circles that occur in this region and the Bakoni people who are believed to have roamed the area in the past. It is ideal for couples and 2 older children can be accommodated on the mezzanine floor if privacy is not a requirement.

The home has exceptional, elevated views of the estate and is tastefully furnished with an open plan kitchen, dining room, living room and family room. The cosy indoor fireplace, covered patio and fire area makes this the perfect home for entertainment and family time. The main bedroom is en-suite and the other 2 bedrooms in the main house each have a separate bathroom. The 4th en-suite bedroom is separate to the house and has 4 beds.

Riverbed Africa Guesthouse

The Guest House is on the Gold diggers pass and has beautiful views of private nature reserve (MACNR). The Spekboom River is a twenty-minute brisk walk from the Guest House. The first thing you’ll notice about the guesthouse is it’s spacious open plan kitchen, dining room through to the living room. There are three bedrooms. The master bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom have a double bed and the third bedroom two single beds.

Shooters Hill is situated in the well renowned Walkersons Private Estate. Walkersons has some of the best trout waters in the Mpumalanga Highlands and aside from fishing, offers mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding, spa treatments, bar and restaurant. The house is well appointed and fully serviced. Three of the 4 bedrooms have fireplaces. We recently installed Solar and batteries to run the essential loads in the house. The house also has a gas stovetop.
