Klipplaatsdrift lodge is a "off-the grid" lodge overlooking the Vlekpoort river 32km's from Hofmeyr, Eastern Cape. The landscape boasts abundant birdlife, scenery and wildlife for those looking to get away. The main lodge is spacious and airy with all the amenities one needs for self catering. The sleeping arraignments: We have 4 chalets with 2 bedrooms each, a lounge area, kitchenette, bathroom with shower and a covered patio with a build in braai area tucked underneath Acaccia thorn trees.

The Stone Cottage Guest House, built in 1896 and recently restored is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The garden is shared with our family, so expect some activity of free-range children and pets! Our farm is accessed by 7km of dirt road.

Doringvygie

Doringvygie at Alandale Farm in the Eastern Karoo near Middelburg (Eastern Cape) is set on a working sheep and cattle farm. The self-catering cottage accommodates five guests in three rooms. Enjoy views from the east-facing stoep or Karoo sunsets from the west-facing one. Guests can join farm activities like sheep shearing, cattle and sheep drafting, explore walking and bike trails, or swim in a farm dam.
