Walk the road up right just before the football field. Maybe a bit messy dirt road on rainy days, but what a stunning view you get of the ocean and the lighthouse! Sit down, it is incredible peaceful!

Here you get a fantastic, 360 degree view of Henningsvær and the surrounding ocean and mountains. Go past the church and up a hill between the church and the school to get there.

Banhammaren bus stop, just 2 minutes to walk from the cottage. All regular, public Henningsvaer-buses do stop and turns around on this end stop. 8 daily buses are scheduled on weekdays.

This restaurant is our personal favorite. The owner is a very skilled norwegian masterchef. A range of lunch and dinner dishes. We warmly recommend the fish soup. There is also a deli shop inside.

The only grocery store in Henningsvær. It is small but you will the most you need for dinner and the grocery staff is very friendly. This is also the home of the local Post Office (Post-in-store).

Ms. Venke Hoff bought the building of the old kaviar factory from the 1950s in 2006 and reshaped the factory into a gallery of high quality contemporary art.
