My personal favorite place to hike within the city. Be sure to check out “All Trails App” as trails range from moderate to challenging. Spring is beautiful. Be aware that when temps go over 75 on spring nights, you may meet some rattlesnakes so stay on the trails and be pay attention

This park is so beautiful, right after sunrise especially and there is hardly a person around at that time. Many species of birds touch down on this oasis and the park is kept super clean.
Be sure to visit the Hunt tomb pyramid at the east end of the park. If you look to the butte on this east side, you will get a view of the Big Horn Sheep that reside there. To the South you will see the giraffes at the Phoenix Zoo
