Parks & Nature
Betty’s Branch is an offshoot of the Savannah River. Put in and take out at the boat ramp at Riverside Park then paddle upstream for a beautiful view of local flora and fauna. Where Betty’s Branch connects to the Savannah, you can either return downstream on Betty’s Branch or turn right around the island and paddle back down the river. If you take the river side, follow the shoreline of the island and it will circle you back around into Betty’s Branch and to the boat ramp for take out.
Difficulty: Easy
Length: About 4 hours but can be done in less
