Ciao Bella is a 2 min walk from the Property. It's an authentic Italian restaurant run by an Italian gentleman with Pasta's and Pizzas to die for. The wine collection isn't bad either. The Ambience is soothing and eclectic. You will love the fact that you don't have to drive after a few drinks and a hearty meal back to the property. Just walk and digest :-)

This peaceful and artsy place is run by a German lady and i frequent her place for the German cocktails and food. Lunches here are very peaceful and fulfilling. Bring in your own conversations or start one there. I highly recommend having a lazy afternoon meal here.

An absolute Must Must Must do. I love the authentic Goan food here with inexpensive drinks. It's not a fancy place but you will leave the place with your belly and wallet full :-) The field Views here are serene and the place is family owned, which shows in the service and quality of food.

This small and peaceful family run restaurant is a short drive from Casa de Tartaruga. Ruta's a great place to meet interesting people, start great conversations and their Shakes and food is brilliant. My personal favourite is the Shepherd's Pie ! Do try it out if you're there.

Every one who is fond of good eateries has probably already experienced the great food and ambience at Gunpowder. If you haven't, put it on your list. Ideal for a lovely evening over dinner and drinks! They serve lip smacking South Indian cuisine and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Secret Spot - This has to be one of my favourite spots in North Goa for a quite evening by the waterfront. Peaceful (they don't even play music), stunning views and inexpensive food and drinks. All this means you could sit with your feet dug in the sand, listen to the waves crashing on the creek wall, and enjoy the stunning Evening Panjim Skyline with casino cruise ships and boats on the Mandovi river. Did i mention good and inexpensive food and drinks ? :-)

A French Cafe, Bakery & Pizzeria in Anjuna. Great location. Tucked away in a small village setting overlooking paddy fields and coconut tress, this place is my personal favourite for a great breakfast (Love their bacon), lazy afternoons to sit and work from while having a great meal etc. If you're in a group you'll love the place for it's open spacious layout. Great Music, Great Food & Drinks, and the super friendly staff. A must visit place if you're in Goa.

(Now Moved Closer to us) - If your'e in North Goa, this is an absolute must do. (4 Min drive from the property). A greek eatery run by a greek lady and her son and an awesome set of people on their staff. It's Scenic, lively, has music and dance and live performances and acrobatic and fire dancer shows and more. You and your family will have a great evening there. Make sure you get there early to get good seats. It gets packed in no time! Try the Sangria while you're there! Best Sunset In Town

One of my personal favourites in Vagator area. I love the Vibe of this bar/restaurant that's laid back yet full of conversations, interesting people, travellers, night owls etc. There's never a dull evening at Mango Tree. This is truly a neighbourhood bar and you have to be a 'daily passenger' variety to appreciate its subtle yet strong vibe. Btw, it's open all night !

If Classic Rock is your kind'a thing and if you're in North Goa on a Friday night, head to Cavala. Their in house band will blow your mind. In the by lanes of a sleepy village in Saligao, lies Cantare. This music haven resides in an old double storied Goan mansion which takes you back down memory lane, with antiques strewn around and cosy niches for people to unwind and relax. Climb up the wooden staircase with a lovely fountain beneath, to the old world charm above. For the diner in you, there is restaurant seating beneath. The menu holds an assortment of varied finger food such as the hummus with dip and the paneer samosas. The full-fledged bar is always stocked and with the music a drink is a must. The music is amazing with a great band.

Head out early morning and go for an early morning Jog/Walk/Run along side the beautiful Chapora River, which is a 5 min run from the property. It's a scenic morning routine that will get you hooked if you do it once. Stop by and have tea at local shacks. This is my favourite morning walk/run when in Goa.

Hidden Gem! When you're at Casa de Tartaruga, you must walk over to the Sunset Point at Badem Church, which is a 7 min walk. From this hill top church which is located at the edge of Badem forest there is an unrestricted view of the sunset every evening. You can also see Chapora River meeting the Arabian Sea from here. Note - Carry your picnic basket & coffee/tea for a quick picnic over the sunset.
