The Beatrice Inn (285 west 12th Street) dates back to the 1920s, when it first operated as a speak-easy, then as a neighborhood Italian joint. But the restaurant truly hit its stride — in Page Six terms, at least — in 2006, when it was transformed into a debauched nightclub helmed by Paul Sevigny and frequented by the likes of Lindsay Lohan and the Olsen twins. Chef Mar even dug up the original disco ball from Sevigny’s heyday, hanging it between the two dining rooms as an homage. “We want to bring that fun back to the Beatrice, bring that grit back to the restaurant,” says Mar, who admits that she never made it inside the Bea during the early aughts.
