A retreat and Conference Centre set in the stunning grounds and ruins of a 14th Century Cistercian Abbey. The Abbey ruins stand in beautiful grounds, which are open daily. Open Monday - Sunday 0900 - 1700 The Gift Shop sells tickets to the grounds and woodland walk, souvenirs, books and gifts. There is also an exhibition describing the historic and spiritual roots of The Abbey. Cloisters Coffee Shop serves light meals, cakes & refreshments daily from 10.00am – 4.30pm

Surrounded by 16 acres of parkland Clitheroe Castle was built in 1186 by Robert de Lacy and has the second smallest surviving stone-built keep in England. The museum opened on 23 May 2009 following major restoration to the Keep. The Castle Museum can be found next to the Castle Keep in the Castle Grounds.

The museum opened on 23 May 2009 following major restoration to the Keep. The Castle Museum can be found next to the Castle Keep in the Castle Grounds.

Aitken Wood is the home of the Pendle Sculpture Trail which brings art, history and nature together. Inspired by the history of the Pendle Witches of 1612 and the natural world found in the beautiful Forest of Bowland, four artists have created unique sculptures from wood, steel and stone. Allow 2 - 3 hours to complete the trail. It is approximately 1 mile to the start of the trail from Barley Car Park. It's well worth it when you get there!

Allow 2 - 3 hours to complete the trail. It is approximately 1 mile to the start of the trail from Barley Car Park. It's well worth it when you get there!
