This beautiful botanical garden is set on the edge of a canyon and has many tranquil walking trails. It also features an impressive collection of cacti, many of them priceless. On warm days, it is best to go early before it gets too hot. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water. They have a small café and gift shop where you can also purchase something to drink. This is the best grocery store in San Miguel, hands down! It is owned by the same people who own La Comer, but much more on the high end. Fresh fish and a great meat department. The bakery is excellent too. The beer and wine departments are also over the top. It looks like a classy department store rather than a supermarket. There is also a great tapas bar as well as a fresh seafood bar, in case you get hungry while shopping.
