Food Scene

Welcome to the gastronomic mile in Madrid. Eat like a local.
Incredible tapas. Best quality & price place. The partridge rice is delicious (arroz con perdiz) and my favorite dish is Oxtail (rabo de toro). Great cold beers too and wines to celebrate.

Fantastic food at the most traditional tavern. It is always full and it is quite noisy, but their calamari ("chipirones") are fantastic. All is great in this place.

Contemporary cuisine. They are famous for their gourmet bacon (torreznos). Also, the Spanish traditional "huevos rotos" (eggs with perfect fries and Iberia ham) are a true delight. The Oxtail (rabo de toro con curry) with a touch of curry is delicious too.

Great fusion food... I love how they have transformed a simple sandwich into an out of this world delight. Ask for the "pepito del kulto". I also love the fusion with Asian food, for example, their Tuna Satay is super light, healthy and with a rich flavor.

Sara's favorite. Best sea food place. Order the "coquinas" (small shells in white wine sauce) and the "Garbanzos con langostino" (chickpeas with shrimps). It's wonderful. Just bear in mind this place is always full. Reserve with enough time or arrive early.

Fantastic bar, tapas and restaurant. The Bloody Mary Oysters are spectacular. We love everything in the menu here. Ask for the daily specials, they will blow your mind.
