Getting Around

San giovani is the beautiful neghborhood that spreads around the Basilica (important church) of San Giovanni in Laterano. If you are heading to the Colosseum and all the archeological area, you can enjoy past this neighborhood: you start out at "Porta Maggiore", the gate of the empire and (unfortunately) the scent of modern Rome, Chaotic but truly beautiful, you then reach the above mentioned Basilica (masterpiece of great architect Borromini) and soon after you have two churches "i santi 4 coronati" "santo stefano rotondo" which are two secret jewels of Rome; from here in a minute you can rest in a beautiful historical park ("villa Celimontana"). There you go, you can now see the back of the Colosseum. But... what time is it now?
