This place is HUGE. I have been there three times, one for a Bernie Sanders rally and the other two times for Denver Comic Con! The Bernie Sanders rally was really well run! The place was more packed for the rally, and I gotta say everything ran super smoothly. The staff was informative and helpful to us volunteers so we knew exactly where we needed to go. We got filtered into the speaking area fairly quickly considering the size of the crowd, and I also got out pretty damn quick as well. I was expecting it to take forever for me to work my way out, but the place has multiple places to exit and that definitely made it easy. There's a bank a block or two away on Colfax that offers $15 event parking - just a heads up - probably the best deal around as far as parking goes. Denver Comic Con was also very well run! It seems to get better every year, but that makes sense because they are going to always look at ways to improve things and to get things running as smoothly as possible. They have a weapons check when you walk in the main area, over by the big blue bear. I recommend getting any weapon/prop checked so that they can mark it properly, that way you won't get constantly stopped by security to make sure you aren't carrying something that is unsafe for the crowd. The booths were set up really nicely, and while it gets crowded, the space was pretty good for a huge amount of people. I always enjoy myself and can't wait to go again next year!

Arts & Culture

I enjoy contemporary art museums and I'll always be an art school nerd. The ability of an artist to evoke thoughts and emotions from viewers as influenced by sociopolitical/economic climate is the very reason why art is so important.
