This is the famous bakery that produced the cronut. There's always a line out the door so I suggest that you order ahead (up to 2 weeks in advance) so you can make sure that you enjoy your favorite treats!

The Corner Bistro for years was famous for having the Best Burger in New York by Zagat (now it's in the Burgr Joint in Le Parker Meredien). This is still a fantastic place to grab a burger and beer (or other food) that's inexpensive. Plus it's open late.

This is a great, affordable southern food restaurant. I've only been here for brunch which is definitely hearty and delicious. There are always a lot of families here and it has outdoor seating (when warm). If this location is too busy, there's another location in Tribeca.

This is an amazing classy speakeasy in the West Village. There's no sign only a psychic sign in the window. The food and drink are amazing and it's decorated in art deco-1920's era. I highly recommend getting here early or making reservations.
